Euro Summer Camp 2019 Greece

 

From the UK and Ireland Federation:

We would like to inform you that this year European Summer Camp will take place at the hotel «Miramare»(https://www.miramare-eretria.gr) it’s located at the area of Eretria in Evia Island, from June 24th until June 30th.Eretria is a village about 96,5km from Athens.

The cost per person is €450 for Adults and €350 for children (4 to 12 years old) on a four bed bedrooms. For three bed bedrooms the cost is €490 for adults and €390 for children, and for two bed bedrooms the cost is€530 for adults and €430 for children.

This cost includes:

  Transportation from and to the Athens airport.

  Transportation from Athens to Eretria and back.

  Full board accommodation to the Hotel «Miramare» for 6 night and 7 days.

The deadline for the participations is the 15th of May of 2019. By the 15th of May you will have to send minimum 50% of the total cost to the Hellenic Federation for every participant. After this dates none participation will be accepted. On your arrival you will have to pay all the rest of the money to the Hellenic Federation. The Bank Account for the deposit is

    Began training in 1967 at the age of 16, as a member of the Brooklyn Highland Park Y.M.C.A., under the guidance and training of Mr. Mike Masley, Jr., Dan Bon 10180, and tested for Cho Dan on June 18, 1969.  Now a certified 4th Dan Ko Dan Ja, and was issued his original testing date Dan Bon 13927 by Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang based on his petition to honor that date and evidence showing Mr. Mike Masley and his instructors,  Mr. Robert Sohn, Dan Bon 6037 and Mr. Vincent Nunno, Dan Bon 7291, were legitimate representatives of the Founder, and Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Association in 1969.

1st WMDK Youth Leader (YL) Symposium

The 1st WMDK Youth Leader(YL) Symposium in Korea was successful  in many ways.  There were 19 YL attended from 13 countries.  Following were discussed at the Orientation of what YL need to do during the week of Symposium:
  1. Strengthen identity with good training (accomplished)
  2. Create YL Mission statement (accomplished)
  3. Create a global network among themselves to be able to implement the Mission objectives (as the first project, they will agree to deliver a video doing Du Moon Hyung from each country on November 9.  They completed the project within 3 weeks)
