Dear WMDK Designee,

I trust this mail finds you and your family in the best of health and spirits.

The 1st WMDK Youth Leader(YL) Symposium in Korea was successful  in many ways.  There were 19 YL attended from 13 countries.  Following were discussed at the Orientation of what YL need to do during the week of Symposium:

  1. Strengthen identity with good training (accomplished)
  2. Create YL Mission statement (accomplished)
  3. Create a global network among themselves to be able to implement the Mission objectives (as the first project, they will agree to deliver a video doing Du Moon Hyung from each country on November 9.  They completed the project within 3 weeks)
* Attached please find a copy of YL's project report.
The YL Symposium was a positive influence to followings:
  1. Increased awareness about YL program worldwide.
  2. Better understanding of what is YL program
  3. Clearer direction was provided for the YL program
  4. Elevate interests in Moo Duk Kwan around the world
  5. Strong bond as Sisterhood / Brotherhood through Moo Duk Kwan (worldwide foundation)
  6. YL's new projects are on going throughout the year as per their mission objectives
You should be proud of YL who were shaped themselves as a Moo Do In because of your influence.
YL were charged to share the outcomes from the 1st YL Symposium in Korea with their respected country.  I believe this will be flow down from the World to Nationals level (and down to Regionals)
Dear Designee, they need your support as well as positive guidance for them to be able to accomplish their mission in their country.
It is good to see highly motivated young leaders throughout the world becomes ONE for the future Moo Duk Kwan.
Thanks to Sa Boms Kenyon, Bartoracci, and Glenn who initiated this thought for the future of our art in 2006 (10 years ago).  I am looking forward your unconditional support the YL program in your country.
My family wish you and your family the best during the holiday season.
Yours in Moo Duk Kwan.
