On May 20th, 2023, World Moo Duk Kwan Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang hosted the WTAC Silver Moo Do In Program, the 8th session of the continuing series. During this session, the emphasis is on giving WMDK practitioners over the age of 65, a medium to come back to train, an opportunity to energize your weh gung, neh gung and shim gung, through low impact training from the WTAC instructors and receive special guidance from the Kwan Jang Nim on the Sip Dan Khum hyungs now being introduced into the WMDK curriculum. The Kwan Jang Nim has stated that these hyungs, designed by the Founder, Hwang Kee, especially for senior practitioners. These hyungs provide opportunity for senior members to come back to initial training in hopes of their desire to continue to move to build strength and flexability into their senior years.
This 8th session covered two areas of training in the Sip Dan Khum Series. Sip Dan Khum Il Ro hyung, was reviewed, and then continued learning the two partner drill of the hyung. This session was taught by Ramiro Guzman, Sa bom Nim, WTAC. Then a second part was taught by Damon Kenyon Sa Bom Nim, WTAC, introducing the Sip Dan Khum E Ro hyung, to include the two partner drill of the hyung.
Kwan Jang Nim ended the training session with another demonstration of Sip Dan Khum Il Ro hyung, and spoke about the importance of expansion and contraction in performing the two partner drill.
