Today, the 9th of November, 2021, we remember the birthday of our Founder, the Late Great Grandmaster Hwang Kee.  The Visionary, Warrior-Scholar, and Philosopher of Moo Do and development of the Moo Duk Kwan.  May our Founder, Rest in Everlasting Peace.  On this day, also the 76th Anniversary of the creation of the Moo Duk Kwan.  It's been an unofficial tradition to have all who are connected to the Founder's Moo Duk Kwan, to perform Kicho Hyung Il Bu (basic form #1).

If you do participate, record the event, and post it on your favorite Social Media, so it can be shared with the world.

Congratulations to all the Candidates attending the USA Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa during the 76th Anniversary of the Moo Duk Kwan. SOO BAHK!

Below you will see a video that was played during the Virtual 75th Anniversary of the Moo Duk Kwan celebration and seminars.  They are important to all who are connected to the Founder, but even more important that you understand the Founder's journey in his discovery of Moo Do.  As this is the anniversary of the foundation of the Moo Duk Kwan, it is also important to understand and know that journey as well.  Thank you Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, for continuing your journey in supporting your Father's vision, and for your endless energy that you share with the world, in Moo Duk Kwan.

    Began training in 1967 at the age of 16, as a member of the Brooklyn Highland Park Y.M.C.A., under the guidance and training of Mr. Mike Masley, Jr., Dan Bon 10180, and tested for Cho Dan on June 18, 1969.  Now a certified 4th Dan Ko Dan Ja, and was issued his original testing date Dan Bon 13927 by Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang based on his petition to honor that date and evidence showing Mr. Mike Masley and his instructors,  Mr. Robert Sohn, Dan Bon 6037 and Mr. Vincent Nunno, Dan Bon 7291, were legitimate representatives of the Founder, and Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Association in 1969.
