During training at the 2015 USA Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa, the USA Technical Advisory Committee introduced attendees to seated sparring (Jua Dae Ryun) concepts and application scenarios.
These are not intended to be standardized techniques, rather to merely serve as examples for students to draw insight and application ideas from when responding to seated attacks.
The USA Technical Advisory Committee also recently published a series of helpful and enlightening video examples of Seated Sparring scenarios on the Soo Bahk Do® institute.
