1ST SYMPOSIUM
YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
El programa de liderazgo para jóvenes presentado por World Moo Duk Kwan fue un gran proyecto provisto por Bartolacci Sa Bom Nim y apoyado por diferentes seniors. Kwan Jang Nim vio en este proyecto la gran posibilidad de formar profesionalmente a los futuros herederos del arte que estén dispuestos a contribuir de forma altruista al desarrollo y difusión de la escuela, conservando los principios del fundador, Gran Maestro Hwang Kee, y de su sucesor KJN Hyun Chul Hwang.

Llegada a Corea:
Llegamos a Corea con gran ilusión, ya habíamos estado en el 70º Aniversario y fue una experiencia inolvidable. Al arribar al Do Jang central fuimos recibidos por Sa Bom Nim Choi, quien con gran amabilidad nos informó del programa e incluso se tomó el tiempo de instruirnos técnica y filosóficamente, una experiencia muy gratificante.
Pronto comenzaron a llegar las diferentes delegaciones de World Moo Duk Kwan, algunos rostros conocidos del año anterior y otros nuevos solo reconocidos por fotos en las redes sociales. Pronto la cortesía y protocolo Moo Do comenzaron a actuar e iniciar con la acción las buenas relaciones humanas. Subimos al autobús y todos estábamos expectantes ante esta nueva experiencia internacional que nos unía para hacer historia y dar inicio oficial a esta nueva tradición en Moo Duk Kwan.
Primera etapa:
El comienzo fue muy especial, Kwan Jang Nim nos llevó a la tumba del Gran Maestro Hwang Kee, esto tuvo un gran poder como punto de partida del proyecto “Jóvenes Líderes de Moo Duk Kwan”. Presentar nuestros respetos a la memoria de nuestro gran maestro fundador, inspirador y génesis de nuestra doctrina. Esto nos demostró claramente el sentido que Kwan Jang Nim H, C. Hwang nos asignó como consigna para el proyecto “Honrar el pasado”.
Al principio se presentaron algunas dificultades, el idioma común fue el inglés, dado que la mayoría no lo tenía como lengua materna, la expresión de las ideas y el tiempo para exponerlas hacía que las reuniones se extendieran. Llegar a ideas comunes al principio parecía algo utópico, las culturas aunque diferentes entre sí, siempre pueden encontrar un nexo de unión, en este caso fue el Moo como disciplina y el Do como filosofía de armonía lo que nos ayudó a enfatizar en un solo camino.
Kwan Jang Nim estuvo muy pendiente de nuestros avances y cuando lo necesitábamos estaba allí para darnos su apoyo y guiarnos. Sa Bom Nim Craig Hays también nos guió en algunas reuniones, tener este soporte directo nos dio gran confianza para definir las necesidades del proyecto.
Segunda etapa:
Logramos todos en armonía encontrar un camino común para el desarrollo de los proyectos propuestos por Kwan Jang Nim, cada país se dispuso a aportar sus ideas y visiones con las características naturales de cada región. Tuvimos gran liderazgo de los seniors, de Corea, Sa Bom Nim Seongkyun Nah y de USA, Sa Bom Nim Frank Tsai.
Después de mucho entrenamiento duro y creativo, horas de intensas reuniones y gracias a la experiencia y apoyo administrativo de Elodie Mollet Sa Bom nim (Francia) y Matt Heal Sa Bom Nim (Australia), juntos pudimos darle una estructura apropiada al proyecto.
Compartimos cientos de risas e historias. Conocimos mucho de culturas de diferentes partes del mundo, sus peculiaridades y otras cosas que las hacen especiales. Distintos puntos de vista sobre la vida conectados por los Cinco Valores Moo Do.

Etapa final:
La etapa final fue muy gratificante, el grupo logro una gran conexión digna de la misión 2000, ya no nos sentíamos fragmentados por nuestras diferencias culturales, encontramos un nexo mucho más fuerte que nos unió para lograr nuestros objetivos en común.
Y aún hoy sigue esta energía de unión entre los asistentes al 1º Simposio Mundial del Proyecto Jóvenes líderes de Moo Duk Kwan.
Esperamos con ansia el 2º Simposio para fortalecer estos lazos de amistad y esperar que nuevos candidatos al programa internacional se sumen para trabajar y llevar al éxito todos los proyectos que brinden a nuestra organización Moo Do longevidad y fortalezca su identidad a nivel mundial.

The Youth Leadership Program presented by World Moo Duk Kwan was a great project provided by Bartolacci Sa Bom Nim and supported by several Seniors. Kwan Jang Nim saw in this project a great possibility to professionaly prepare the future heirs of the art who are willing to contribute in an altruistic way to the development and diffuse of our school, safekeeping our Grand Master´s Hwang Kee principles and of his successor KJN H. C. Hwang.
Last October, World Moo Duk Kwan and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Association organized the first Youth Leaders World Symposium. The Spanish Federation is a very young organization that has five Cho Dan members and one Ko Dan Ja. We had a meeting and organize to go to the Symposium, first Diego Salinas confirm and second, Igor F. Karaeva.
Arriving to Korea:
With great joy, we arrived to Korea. A year before we had been at the 70th Anniversary celebration and it had been an unforgettable experience. When we arrived at Joong Ahn Do Jang we were welcome by Sa Bom Nim Choi, who kindly told us about the program and took the time to give us instruction, technically and philosophically, it was a very gratifying experience.
Delegations from all over the world started to arrive, we saw some familiar faces from the former year and some new that we recognized from social networks photographs. Soon, Moo Do protocol and courtesy started in action on human relationships. We got in the bus and everybody was excited about this new international experience that gather us to make history and to officialy begin with this new tradition in Moo Duk Kwan.
First Phase:
The beginning was very special. Kwan Jang Nim took us to visit Grand Master´s last resting place, this was a very powerful act as a starting point of the Moo Duk Kwan´s Youth Leaders Project. Paid our respect to our Grand Master´s memory, our founder, inspiration and our doctrine´s genesis. This act showed us the meaning that Kwan Jang Nim H. C. Hwang gave us as a slogan for the project: “Honor the past”.
At the beginning we had some difficulties, the official language was English. Because most of the assistants weren´t english native language speakers, the ideas exchange and the time to express them results in very long meetings. We tought it was utopic to reach common ideas, yet the cultures were very different from each other, they could find a meeting point. In this occasion was Moo as discipline and Do as a harmony philosophy, wich helped us to focus in one way.
Kwan Jang Nim was paying attention to our work and was there every time we needed him to support us and guide us. Sa Bom Nim Craig Hays also helped us in some meetings. Having their direct support gave us confidence to define our project needs.
Second Phase:
In harmony we achieve a common way to developed Kwan Jang Nim´s Projects, each country express its ideas and points of view according to each region characteristics. We had the great leadership of Sa Bom Nim Seongkyun Nah, from Korea, and of Sa Bom Nim Frank Tsai, thank to them we achieve a state of harmony.
After hours of hard and creative training and hours of intense meetings and thanks to the administrative support and experience of de Elodie Mollet Sa Bom nim (Francia) y Matt Heal Sa Bom Nim (Australia), together we could give a propper structure to the Project. We shared hundred of laughs and stories. We knew a lot of cultures from differents parts of the world, their peculiarities and other things that make them special. So many different points of view about life, connected by Five Moo Do Values.
Final Phase:
We discovered we have a lot of thing in common. Shared the situations we are living in our countries and learned a new point of view about life experiences lived by the members of symposium. We learned lots of new words in other languages.
The final stage was very gratifying, the group achieved a great connection worthy of the 2000 mission, we no longer felt more fragmented by our cultural differences, we found a much stronger link that united us to achieve our common goals.
And still today this energy of union between the attendees from the 1st World Symposium of the Project Young leaders of Moo Duk Kwan.
We look forward to the 2nd Symposium to strengthen these bonds of friendship and hope that new candidates for the international program join us to work and bring to the success all the projects that provide our organization Moo Do longevity and strengthen its identity worldwide.
