Dear WMDK Designees,
I hope this email finds you and your families in good health and spirits.
Seiberlich Sa Bom Nim asked me to share his message below re: the 2015 WMDK Symposium.

Designees,

As I reflect on the 2015 WMDK Symposium, I want to thank all of you in
attendance for your efforts in working together to create a promising future
for the WMDK.  It was unfortunate that Kwan Jang Nim was forced to attend to
so many issues during that time, but the brief periods he spent with us were
rewarding and memorable.The efforts of the Vice Chair, Glenn Sa Bom, in assisting me to organize and
run the event, and his own inputs during the meetings were significant to
its success.  Doc Scholz, Sa Bom, provided a seriously needed updating of
our communications process as well as providing insights that we can build
on.  And of course, the Translator/interpreter Guzman Sa Bom, provided all
of our Designees the opportunity to be fully involved.  He was very patient
with our non-stop rhetoric.As a team, you were able to create the beginnings of a process for planning
a clear future of our Organization and ensuring support by all national
organizations.  It is definitely up to you folks, and the Young Leaders that
you are carefully developing, each in your own way, to provide the necessary
leadership for the future of the WMDK.Kwan Jang Nim is pleased with the progress that we made, and is looking for
continuing efforts on your part in this regard. The basic role of the Chair
and Vice Chair is to facilitate the efforts of the Team of Designees to
achieve the goals that have been set.The venue was definitely an interesting setting, about five miles from the
DMZ.  It was Korean style all the way.  On occasions, it reminded me of the
year I spent there in 1959-60.  The organizers did a great job of making the
best situation possible.  And thanks to the Aussies for tending to the needs
of the Meeting Room.

The 70th Celebration was both successful and enjoyable.  Thanks to all of
you who participated in the demonstrations.  That's what it's all about.  We
demonstrated that Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan is the leader in martial arts
throughout the world.  And I must add, I attend banquets in many places, but
that meal was one of the best I've experienced.  The number and quality of
food offerings was amazing.

Of course, Kwan Jang Nim deserves our highest respect for his constant and
intensive yearlong effort in planning and producing this memorable event.

Again, thanks to all who attended and for those who didn't, "You missed
something special."

I expect to receive the Draft of the Minutes from Vatan Sa Bom in the next
few days and will get them to you as soon as possible.

    Began training in 1967 at the age of 16, as a member of the Brooklyn Highland Park Y.M.C.A., under the guidance and training of Mr. Mike Masley, Jr., Dan Bon 10180, and tested for Cho Dan on June 18, 1969.  Now a certified 4th Dan Ko Dan Ja, and was issued his original testing date Dan Bon 13927 by Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang based on his petition to honor that date and evidence showing Mr. Mike Masley and his instructors,  Mr. Robert Sohn, Dan Bon 6037 and Mr. Vincent Nunno, Dan Bon 7291, were legitimate representatives of the Founder, and Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Association in 1969.
