Moo Do Excellence since 1945

The history of the Korean Moo Duk Kwan Association, is well known and documented. Since the end of World War II in 1945, the Korean Moo Duk Kwan, under the guidance of its Founder, Hwang Kee, and the continuation of teaching and guidance, by his son H.C. Hwang; have for 80 years, developed and delivered one of the premiere martial arts in modern history.
During the Master level evaluations, candidates are tested on the World Moo Duk Kwan standards of training and instruction. Candidates who are eligible can be certified as Sa Bom, Bu Sa Bom, and Kyo Bom, which are recognized internatioally and directly represent the Kwan Jang Nim, basically as certified instructors.
During the week of enduring training, all aspects of the art, including new principles and concepts are introduced to the candidates. All of the training is based on Moo Do principles handed down from the Founder, Hwang Kee, and those new principles that have been introduced by Kwan Jang Nim H. C. Hwang. Training is emphasized on Hyungs, Basic Ki Cho, and advanced training, history is reviewed and life as a Moo Do In is shared among the candidates, visiting members, and the senior leadership.
