We have recently lost Brian L. Wilbourn, Sa Bom Nim, July 13, 1955 -

THIS JUST HAPPEN AND I AM DOING THIS FOR Tim Doyle SBN AND BRIAN WILBOURN SBN ************************************************************************** Gene Riggs just contacted me about Wilbourn Sa Bom Nim has been released from the hospital and now in the Hands of hospice and with his family. This picture popped up. This weekend, Region 6 held it's Spring Dan Shim Sa hosted by Wilbourn Sa Bom Nim in Irving, TX with clinics taught by Wilbourn Sa Bom Nim, Hays Sa Bom Nim, and Horni Sa Bom Nim. Thank you all for your participation and support! Soo Bahk! April 2019

    Thank you Riggs Sa Bom Nim for the update and for bringing him to the KDJSS last November. I know that meant a lot to him as it did to the rest of us to be able to see and speak with him again in person.
    Wilbourn SBN, a great example for all of us, will be dearly missed, but he is home in heaven and rejoicing with his Lord and Savior. My condolences to his family and fellow Moo Duk Kwan brothers and sisters for such a loss. Mrs. Wilbourn and Lindsey, thank you for sharing him with us and for allowing him to listen to the message I left for him. I will be praying for you and for all of us who will miss him.

    Began training in 1967 at the age of 16, as a member of the Brooklyn Highland Park Y.M.C.A., under the guidance and training of Mr. Mike Masley, Jr., Dan Bon 10180, and tested for Cho Dan on June 18, 1969.  Now a certified 4th Dan Ko Dan Ja, and was issued his original testing date Dan Bon 13927 by Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang based on his petition to honor that date and evidence showing Mr. Mike Masley and his instructors,  Mr. Robert Sohn, Dan Bon 6037 and Mr. Vincent Nunno, Dan Bon 7291, were legitimate representatives of the Founder, and Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Association in 1969.
